
The government of Kazakhstan has posted a draft resolution on the abolition of the visa regime between the Republic of Kazakhstan and China on the “Open NLA” website, writes the “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” online newspaper.
Visitors to the site “Open NLA” are offered the opportunity to publicly discuss the draft visa-free regime of Kazakhstan with one of its largest trading partners.
If the decision is adopted, citizens of Kazakhstan will be able to stay in China without a visa for up to 30 days and a total of 90 days within 180 days.
Citizens of China will be able to visit Kazakhstan under the same conditions.To stay in China for a longer period, you will need to apply for a visa before entering the country.
A resolution on a mutual visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China is planned to be signed during the state visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to China on May 18-19, 2023.
