The conference “Achievements and future of diplomacy of permanently neutral Turkmenistan in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state” was held at the International University of Humanities and Development.
Its participants were veterans of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan, as well as teachers and students of the university, writes the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The conference was organized in honor of Diplomacy Day and was held in a solemn atmosphere. Within the framework of it, there was an exhibition prepared by the student “Diplomats Club” of IUHD. The opening of the event was decorated with performances by the creative team of Owaz students.
During the conference, such honored guests as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Hero of Turkmenistan Chinar Rustemova and teacher of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Sapar Berdyniyazov spoke.
The conference discussed the multifaceted achievements of Turkmen diplomacy and its future. The priority objectives of Turkmenistan's foreign policy were highlighted, such as ensuring peace, stability and security, and implementing the UN sustainable development goals. New opportunities and directions of the country’s foreign policy in the trade, economic, humanitarian and environmental spheres also received attention.
It was noted that thanks to its active international policy, Turkmenistan occupies a leading position in the system of international relations. In addition, it was emphasized that such conferences with the participation of student youth are important for the professional development and training of future diplomats.
