Ivan Danilyants appointed assistant coach of “Kairat”

Ivan Danilyants has been appointed assistant coach of FC “Kairat” Almaty, according to the official website of the Kazakh club.

“A large family of the “yellow-blacks” wishes Ivan Albertovich good luck and great victories together with the club!”, the “Kairat” press service said.

Recall that “Kairat” is headed by Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev.

Danilyants, 68, worked for a long time with Berdyev at Rostov and Rubin. Since 2020, he has held the position of sports director at the Football Federation of Moldova.

Ivan Danilyants was born in Ashgabat in 1953 - a Soviet football player, an Austrian and Moldovan coach. In 1974 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Turkmen State University. During his playing career he was a defender, since 1971 he played for the Ashgabat “Stroitel”.

In 1981-1983 he received a diploma from the Higher School of Coaches at the State Center for Sports and Physical Culture in Moscow. In 1993, he received confirmation of the UEFA “A” coach license. Coached teams at various levels in Austria, Moldova and Russia.
