KAMAZ Intends to Supply Its Electric Buses to Turkmenistan

KAMAZ, the Russian manufacturer of trucks, is holding negotiations on the supply of its electric buses for test operation to Turkmenistan in 2022, the Tatar-inform information agency reported on Friday with reference to the General Director of the company Sergey Kogogin.

The Arab countries are also showing great interest in KAMAZ electric buses, Kogogin said, adding that the company is presently negotiating with the countries of the Persian Gulf on the supply of the buses.

The electric buses of the company are presently operated in Moscow, according to the report.

The supply of KAMAZ electric buses to Turkmenistan was also discussed between Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Ashgabat in May this year.
