The candidacy of No.1 electoral district “Garashsyzlyk” in Ashgabat K. Babayev was nominated to the post of the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament during the first session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation. Kasymguly Babayev was unanimously elected to this post by open balloting.
