Kerwenler Exports 120 Thousand sqm of Wool Coverlets to Azerbaijan

Kerwenler Individual Enterprise, the manufacturer of wool products in Turkmenistan, recently exported 120 thousand square meters of produced coverlets to Azerbaijan.

The company has also launched new coverlet model, distinguished by its new design incorporating Turkmen national carpet ornaments, the country’s Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The company’s production facility in the industrial zone in Ahal province’s Ak Bugday etrap consists of wool spinning and weaving workshops.

The wool spinning workshop of the company produces wool yarn and wool yarn mixed with polyester from high-quality sheep's wool. The workshop also produces high-quality wool yarn used in Turkmen handmade carpet production. The workshop presently produces more than dozen tons of wool yarn a month.

The textile workshop of the enterprise produces kilims and coverlets of different sizes, and woolen and semi-woolen blankets.

The wool products of Kerwenler are also exported to Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
