On May 30, the construction of the new city of Asman started in Kyrgyzstan - President Sadyr Japarov laid a capsule on the site of the first building, Vecherniy Bishkek newspaper reports.
The preparation of the project for the new city and all related documentation took two years.
According to the project, the new city with a total area of 4 thousand hectares will be designed for 500-700 thousand inhabitants. Financing of the construction will be entrusted to external investors - foreign companies, President Zhaparov said in his message.
