Lamin Yamal named best young footballer in the world by France Football

Barcelona striker Lamine Yamal, who turned 17 during the 2024 European Championship in Germany, has received the award for the best young footballer In the world according to France Football magazine. The award ceremony is taking place today in Paris.

Yamal made his debut for the main Barcelona team in the summer of 2023 and has since played 65 matches for the Blaugrana, scoring 13 goals and making 16 assists. He became European champion with the Spanish national team.
