The ceremony of lighting up the main New Year’s Tree of the country took place on December 15, marking the beginning of the New Year’s celebrations.By tradition, the venue for the New Year's celebrations was the square in front of the "Älem" Cultural and Entertainment Center, where the 41-meter New Year’s Tree crowned with an eight-pointed star and the figures 2021 was installed.
Decorated with colorful balls, beads, firecrackers, sparkling tinsel and garlands, it has become one of the most attractive symbols of the coming year.As never before, people all around the world are waiting for the New Year with the hope for good changes and prosperous life.
The fairytale caravan arrived at the Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center.An arch sparkling with garlands opens the entrance to a wonderful country, where guests are greeted by heroes of Turkmen fairy tales and famous cartoons.
And, of course, the culmination of the merry New Year's performance was lighting up of the New Year’s Tree.Happy, clear voices of the children are the best evidence of the country's well-being, our confidence in the present and the future of our independent Motherland.
