The Concept of development of digital economy of Turkmenistan, which has been initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has primed the development of high technologies and electronic industry.
The goals and objectives, put by the Head of the State into the Concept, are aimed at provision of rapid modernization of national economy, which is impossible today without cyber systems, growth of scientific potential, personnel resources of the branches and improvement of wellbeing of people.
Agzybirlik tilsimaty Joint venture of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was the first in the country to produce computers.It has started from production of learning notebooks, which are annually presented to all first-grade school students on behalf of the Head of the State.
Before, it was imported analogs but since 2019, they were replaced with local production.
This year, Agzybirlik tilsimaty has modernized the model of learning notebooks, having used original scheme of the board developed by engineers of the facility and increased processor’s power and amount of random access memory.
These were the computers, which all first-grade school students of the country has received as a New Year gift on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Many learning applications of portable computers, which were developed together with specialists of educational sphere, make an excellent help for initial school students. Locally developed software and the notebook itself, which was named Bilimli, has been patented by Аgzybirlik tilsimaty.
The team of the facility expands the range of production renewing model line of various computers. The production of interactive displays for video conferences and presentation has been started, monoblocks, in which the latest components are assembled together with monitor in one case, are ready for production.
At the same time, works for development of software for higher educational institutes, virtual methodological and educational animated guides with 3-D modelling, for example for laboratory classes on chemistry, physics, geography, biology, are continued together with specialists of educational sphere.
This activity is aimed at the formation of electronic platform of national university education, to digitization of which Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pays special attention.
Each new model of local personal computer undergoes thorough testing, which guarantees ideal compatibility of the components. Special equipment has been procured for this purpose, in particular the equipment for testing of battery for the risk of explosion, wet and dust resistance of equipment, durability of keyboard, etc.
The facility has big orders on supply office computers, which local production serves as additional support for provision of cyber security of the government and business structures, to various establishments.
Modernization of production line has allowed the facility producing more than 200, 000 units of 30 varieties including server and network equipment, hardware-based complexes for automation of trade.
First of all, Agzybirlik tilsimaty aimes at satisfaction of local and regional market, however export perspective may cover wider geography.
It is planned to entry to industrial scales by opening of big factory in Turkmenabat with output capacity of 500,000 units of production. Lebap Region has been selected due to logistic consideration. The interest of neighboring states have been demonstrated to the production of the first facility of Turkmen computer industry.
Qualified specialists of the facility have been certified by the Tsinghua University, which occupies the first position of national Chinese rating and is among the top of the world educational ratings. Professional webinars and consultations with foreign partners, including Microsoft and Intel, are regularly held for personnel of Аgzybirlik tilsimaty.
Founded in 2018, the company Аgzybirlik tilsimaty of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan is a team of professionals, which successfully solve the objectives given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for development of the digital economy and national IT-market owing to the level of their competency.
