The “Merv” football club goes to training camps in the Turkish city of Bolu. The training camp will be held from July 19 to 31. The delegation includes 24 players and 11 official representatives of the club.
In preparation for the new season, “Merv” will play a number of friendly matches. One of the rivals will be the Azerbaijani club “Turan Tovuz”, which was recently headed by the famous Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev.
A game is also planned against “Pendikspor”, representing the Turkish First League.
The season for “Merv” will officially resume on August 17. In the 19th round of the Major League of Turkmenistan, the team will go to visit “Nebitchi”. Based on the results of two rounds of the Turkmenistan Championship, “Merv” takes 5th place, gaining 21 points in 16 matches.
The tournament table is headed by “Arkadag” with 48 points. Next come “Altyn Asyr” (37 points), “Ahal” (34 points) and “Shagadam” (24 points).
