“Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” won BAFTA Best TV Series of the Year

In London, the winners of the British television award BAFTA were awarded, reports Deadline.

Kate Winslet won Best Actress for her role in the TV movie “I Exist: Ruth”. She also received an award for the same film, in which she acted as a producer.

Best Actor went to Ben Whishaw for the mini-series “This is going to hurt”. The statuette in the category “Best International Series” went to “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” with Evan Peters in the title role.

Among the winners of the TV award are also:

- Best Drama Series “The Garvey Sisters Conspiracy”;

- Best Comedy Series “Girls from Derry”;

- Best TV movie “I Exist: Ruth”;

- Best Supporting Actor - Adeel Akhtar “Sherwood”;

- Best Supporting Actress - Anne-Marie Duff “Conspiracy of the Garvey Sisters”;

- Best female comedy role - Siobhan McSweeney “Girls from Derry”;

- Best Male Comedy Performance - Lenny Rush “Am I out of my mind?”.
