Natasa Pirc-Musar becomes the first female president of Slovenia

For the first time in the history of Slovenia, the post of head of state was taken by a woman - Natasa Pirc-Musar, reported “MIR 24”. She edged out her electoral rival, Anž Logar, Slovenia's former interior minister, by a narrow margin.

In an official press statement, Natasa Pirc-Musar stressed that she intends to do everything possible to improve the well-being of the elderly citizens of Slovenia, encourage young people to live and work in the country, and not abroad, and also take care of the environment.
