National Organization for Barcodes  participant of the exhibition of achievements of Turkmenistan

Among the members of the exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan, conducted at the Expo center of the Chamber of Commerce and industry, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the country's independence, is the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes (GS1 “Turkmenistan”).

The information stand of the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes introduces the directions of work and perspective plans of the organization in the context of innovative development o Turkmenistan, implementation of programs and projects.

Presented video materials in the pavilion are devoted to the contribution of GS1 “Turkmenistan” to the increase of export opportunities of Turkmen producers, development of international trade and economic relations.

We remind that the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes is organized in 2014. In May 2015 the Organization is a full member of the GS1 International Organization for the creation and implementation of standards, entered its European department.

Currently, there are more than 2 thousand structures in the ranks of NOTB. Among them are ministries and departments, organizations and enterprises of the public and private sector. The bar-coding system covers more than 2 thousand manufacturers. More than 60 thousand names of Turkmen commodity products have been assigned the appropriate labeling.

The use of the expert capabilities of the NOTB opens up prospects for the introduction of globally unified standards and solutions for sustainable development.
