National Program for Turning Turkmenistan into a Tobacco-Free Country for 20262030 Approved

In order to safeguard the spiritual and physical health of the population, combat tobacco use, significantly improve public health and citizens’ well-being, increase life expectancy, and implement effective and comprehensive measures in this area, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution.

The document approves the National Program for Turning Turkmenistan into a Tobacco-Free Country for 20262030, as well as the Action Plan for its implementation.

In accordance with the document, ministries, government agencies, and the khyakimliks of the velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, have been instructed to ensure the implementation of the above-mentioned National Program.
