Nearly 6 thousand Afghan families received humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan

The process of distribution of humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan has started in the Afghan province of Jauzjan. Nearly 6 thousand families received the food products. This is reported by The Kabul Times publication.

Mavlavi Sharafuddin Muslim, Deputy Minister for Disaster Relief, said that Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan provided humanitarian assistance to families affected by the ongoing drought in the regional center and districts.

Meanwhile, a number of tribe elders and suffered families requested continuation of aid, while the situation arouse concerns, food prices has extremely increased, and the majority of people are unemployed.
