The contractors members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will complete the construction of 64 four-story residential buildings in the Gurtly Residential Area in the coming months.
The companies are currently completing the finishing work of most of the buildings, asphalting the roads, and laying intra-block passages and driveways, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.
The second phase of construction of the Gurtly Residential Area will house more than 3,000 families.
The buildings consist of four-room apartment with the area of 150 square meters, a three-room apartment with the area of 120 square meters, and a two-room apartment with the area of 88 square meters.
Along with the apartment buildings, Gurtly will also see the opening of a shopping and entertainment center, a bazaar, a school and kindergartens.
