New entry rules come into force for those departing from Turkmenistan to Russia

From September 1, entry to Russia is prohibited without the result of a negative PCR test for coronavirus in the form of a QR code entered into the “Traveling without COVID-19” application.

According to the decree of the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, citizens of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan - from September 1, 2021, when crossing the state border of Russia, they confirm the presence of a certificate with a negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, made no earlier than 3 days before arrival.

The information must be uploaded to the “Traveling without COVID-19” application. It is possible to save test results and QR codes in the application.

The mobile application “Traveling without COVID-19” was developed to present negative results of coronavirus tests when crossing the border of the Russian Federation for citizens of the EurAsEC member states. The application is already used by arriving flights from Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

The functionality allows responsible persons to check the test results at the entrance to the country both visually (green color of the QR code) and using a standard QR code reader.
