New Industrial Flow of Hydrocarbons Obtained at Turkmenistan’s Uzynada Field

The industrial flow of hydrocarbons was obtained following the drilling of the new exploration well at the Uzynada hydrocarbon field, located in the south-west of Turkmenistan.

According to the initial estimates, the daily flow rate of the well is 120 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and more than 105 tons of oil condensate, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Friday.

The productive layer was reportedly found at a depth of 6,860 meters. The exploration works was carried out by Lebapnebitgözleg expedition of Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation.

The online newspaper also reported on the drilling of another well at the field at a depth of 7,600 meters, the deepest in Turkmenistan. To date, the drilling equipment has reached a depth of 5,500 thousand meters at the well.

In July this year, an industrial gas flow was obtained as a result of well drilling works at Malay field in Turkmenistan’s northeastern velayat of Lebap. The daily capacity of the well is 400 thousand cubic meters of natural gas.
