Modern residential buildings will be erected in Ashgabat as an indicative example of the use of original architectural solutions as part of the integrated development of the country's cities. This was announced at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported.
Baymyrat Annamammedov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Construction and Industrial Complex, said that a plan and a sketch of a project for the construction of new modern residential buildings have already been prepared, which were agreed upon in the prescribed manner.
After listening to the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that providing the population with comfortable housing is one of the main priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan.He also noted the special importance attached to the comprehensive development of the main city of the Motherland, turning it into one of the most beautiful and comfortable megacities in the world.
