On 2 March President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov signed a decree pursuant to which a new residential district will be built in Ashgabat.
According to the state information agency TDH, a residential district comprised of 16 multi-storey apartment blocks is scheduled to be built along Magtymguly avenue between Taslam and Teheranskaya streets.
Pursuant to the document, the construction works will be launched in March 2018 and the facilities are expected to be commissioned in September 2020.
Let us recall that in October 2017 President Berdymukhammedov opened a new elite residential district where 23 multi-storey apartment blocks had been constructed.
On 7 February the head of the state participated in the opening ceremony of newly-built facilities in the village of “Tyaze zaman”.
