According to the Concept of improvement of teaching of foreign languages, the network of specialized comprehensive schools is expanding in the northern region.School No. 19 of Dashoguz received the status of such school.
Starting from new academic year, the programme of education will include Persian language (Farsi) in addition to the main English language from the fifth grade.The classes are conducted by young specialists who graduated from profile Turkmen universities.
There are 525 secondary comprehensive schools in Dashoguz Velayat where students study English and Russian together with Turkmen language. 27 schools, which includes those that located in rural area, are specialized in deep study of German, French, Chinese, Japanese and other languages.

Network of educational facilities of the velayat is modernized under integrated programme of transformation of the regions. Just this year, fifty new interactive boards and large quantity of office equipment were supplied to urban and rural schools.
