October Week III: SCRMET Sees High Oil, Gas Demand

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reported high demand last week for products from the Türkmennebit State Concern, according to official Turkmen media reports on Monday.

Business representatives from Türkiye, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas for foreign currency, with transactions exceeding 3.561 million USD.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs acquired polypropylene, as well as cotton yarn and waste, with a total transaction value of over 7.091 million Turkmen manats.

Eight transactions were recorded last week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
