Over 220 Facilities Under Construction in Second Phase of Arkadag Development

More than 220 social, cultural, and industrial facilities are being built as part of the second phase of Arkadag city’s development, Deryageldi Orazov, chairman of the State Committee for Arkadag Construction under the President of Turkmenistan, said Tuesday at a working meeting chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Orazov noted that the second phase includes general education schools, kindergartens, and five-, seven-, and nine-story apartment buildings, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.

The meeting reviewed construction progress, residential and social projects, preparations for upcoming national holidays, and the relocation of residents to new housing.

During a site visit, Berdimuhamedov inspected ongoing construction and transport infrastructure projects, including a bridge at the intersection of Geoktepe and Akhan avenues. He emphasized the importance of these projects for creating jobs and improving living conditions.

Officials stressed the need to adhere to construction deadlines and quality standards.
