The French capital plans to revive the ban on the construction of buildings over 12 floors high, writes “Europulse”.
According to Parisians, sparkling skyscrapers spoil the unique architectural look of their city. The construction of another “high-rise”, the Tour Triangle in the form of a pyramid, which will become the third tallest building in Paris, causes particular dissatisfaction with the residents of Paris.
The ban on the construction of buildings higher than 37 meters was in effect in Paris from 1977 to 2010. Then it was introduced after the construction of another Parisian skyscraper, Tour Montparnasse, 210 meters high.
