Parliamentarians of Turkmenistan met with the head of the Council of Foreign Economic Relations of Türkiye

Members of the Turkmenistan-Türkiye interparliamentary friendship group met with the Chairman of the Council of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Türkiye, Mahmut Er, the website of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan reports.

During the meeting, the Turkmen side spoke about the main directions of Turkmenistan’s domestic and foreign policy, based on the principles of neutrality, as well as about the legislative activities of the national Parliament.

The parties noted with satisfaction the active development of Turkmen-Turkish bilateral cooperation based on friendship, mutual understanding and close support. The importance of developing multidisciplinary cooperation in all areas, including trade and economic, investment, banking, energy, transport and logistics, industrial, urban development, agricultural and sports sectors, which are of mutual interest to both countries, was emphasized.
