Petroleum Products and Sheet Glass on Top Positions at Exchange Trading

267 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and others purchased, in foreign currency, liquefied gas. Clear sheet glass and cotton yarn were also sold in foreign currency. Russia, the UAE, Hong Kong, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 23 million 39 thousand US dollars.

Cotton yarn and wool (Sarajin and Karakul) worth over 22 million 195 thousand manats were purchased in local currency by businessmen from Russia, Hong Kong, Canada, Turkey, Armenia and Pakistan.

Polypropylene, polyethylene and cotton fiber worth approximately 8 million manats were purchased by local entrepreneurs for the domestic market.
