Portofino will fine tourists for staying near attractions for a long time

The authorities of the Italian city of Portofino have decided to fine tourists who linger too long at city attractions and create congestion and traffic jams in narrow streets, writes “Europulse”.

Restrictions will apply during daylight hours, from 10:30 to 18:00. Thus, tourists will have the opportunity to admire the sights for a long time only at certain hours, without disturbing the residents of the city.

For violation of the rule, the fine will range from 68 to 275 euros.
