President Berdimuhamedov Approves Construction of New Settlement in Mary Province

Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Tuesday signed a decree approving the construction of a new modern settlement in the Ymambaba district of Yoloten district, Mary Province, the Turkmen state media reported.

The decree aims to support the objectives outlined in the program “Revival of new epoch of the powerful state: National Program of Turkmenistan's socioeconomic development in the period 2022-2052,” promote regional socio-economic development, and significantly improve citizens’ quality of life.

According to the decree, construction of the settlement will take place in phases from 2026 to 2030.

The Ministry of Construction and Architecture has been instructed to develop a master plan for the new modern settlement within three months and, in accordance with regulations, establish a Directorate of Construction Projects under the ministry to oversee the construction of buildings and facilities.
