President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to President of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of his 70th birthday, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.
"Under your leadership, China has achieved tremendous successes in its socio-economic development and is now confidently moving forward along the path of building a modernized socialist state," the Turkmen President said in his message.
President Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan highly appreciates the personal contribution of the President of China to strengthening the traditionally friendly Turkmen-Chinese relations, which are nowadays characterized as all-round strategic partnership.
He expressed confidence that the implementation of the main areas of further cooperation agreed upon in Beijing and Xi'an this year would fill the bilateral interaction with new content.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Xi Jinping good health, happiness and success in implementing grandiose plans and initiatives, and to the friendly Chinese people - peace, prosperity and welfare.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also sent congratulations and best wishes to President of China.
