During an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on July 12th, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov relieved A. Ashyrov from his position as chairman of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography due to health reasons.
M. Rejepov, who previously served as the director of the Ashgabat TV channel, was appointed as the new head of the State Committee, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
S. Begenjov became the new director of the Ashgabat TV channel.
Additionally, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Sh.Purmammedov from his position as director of the Yashlyk TV channel.
Y. Kasymov became the new head of the Yashlyk TV channel.
