President of Turkmenistan Attends Central Asian Leaders’ Consultative Meeting

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is taking part in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia as part of his state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The gathering brings together the presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

At the forum, leaders are discussing issues related to expanding mutual trade, deepening investment cooperation and strengthening key transport and logistics links as part of economic partnership. The agenda also includes coordination on water management, energy, healthcare and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Turkmenistan, guided by its internationally recognized status of permanent neutrality, is actively engaged in the dialogue aimed at developing coordinated approaches to common regional issues.
