President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended heartfelt congratulations to Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, cosmonaut-instructor, commander of the cosmonaut squad of the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities, Oleg Kononenko, on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day.
"In opening new pages in the history of cosmonautics, you have brought pride to our nation with your achievements in exploring and mastering outer space," noted the Head of State in his message, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Thursday.
President of Turkmenistan wished Oleg Kononenko robust health, optimism, new discoveries, and high achievements in his responsible work.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also extended sincere congratulations to Oleg Kononenko on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day.
