Today a Center for repair and maintenance of power equipment in the Bezmein etrap of Ashgabat is put into operation. In the festive ceremony of its opening the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part, the information program “Watan” of the Turkmen television reports.
Giving a speech at the opening ceremony of the object, the President of Turkmenistan stressed that the Center is the only enterprise in the Central Asia designated for repair and maintenance of General Electric power equipment on the basis of the advanced technologies.
The construction of this object, located on an area of 3 hectares, in accordance with the corresponding Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, signed in 2019, is carried out by the Turkish company Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In the work local and foreign specialists are involved.
The Center provides optimal working conditions.In this regard, the Head of Turkmenistan emphasized that the organization of repair and restoration works fully meets environmental requirements.The Center has implemented advanced technologies of the American company General Electric.
With its commissioning, more than 120 jobs have been created here.Before starting work, the specialists took advanced training courses in foreign countries.
The Center has created all the necessary conditions for effective work, 55 units of specialized equipment have been installed.The infrastructure of the complex includes specialized workshops, a laboratory, an administrative building, a conference hall, an archive, a warehouse, technical, utility rooms and other necessary premises.
There is also a medical center, a kitchen and a dining room for employees.
Upon completion of familiarization with the Center, according to the established good tradition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a memorable entry in the Book of Honored Guests.
The President of the country also handed the keys to the new official cars intended for the new production facility to the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan.
