1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov went to New York on a working visit to participate in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.The head of state's visit to the United States will last until September 20.
The President of Turkmenistan will take part in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as in the first meeting in the format of multilateral cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the United States.
Along with this, the head of state will hold a number of bilateral meetings, including with the UN Secretary General.
2.The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, permitting the hyakimlik of the Geoktepe etrap of the Ahal velayat to conclude a contract with the economic association “Çyzgy” for the design and construction of a children’s park in the city of Arkadag with improvement of the surrounding areas.
The document stipulates that construction work should begin in October 2023 and the facility will be fully ready for operation in June 2026.
3. The delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, led by Dunyagozel Gulmanova, will travel to Seoul from September 17 to 20, 2023 to participate in the interparliamentary forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.
4.In Turkmenistan, it is planned to construct modern buildings at the railway stations of the city of Bayramaly, Mary velayat, Kaakhka and Baharden etraps, Ahal velayat, as well as the city of Balkanabat, Balkan velayat.
Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications Mammethan Chakyev reported on the ongoing work to implement plans for further development of the railway infrastructure at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
5. In Turkmenistan, the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers, celebrated annually on October 10, is dedicated to physical education, sports and recreational activities, which are scheduled to be held on October 8-9 throughout the country under the slogan “Turkmenistan is a country of happy, healthy and highly spiritual youth!”
6.From October 14 to 15, the first film festival will be held in the “smart” city of Arkadag, in which creative teams and young talents from Central Asian countries will take part.
The main goal of the film festival is to identify young talents, develop Turkmen cinema, patriotic education of youth, as well as familiarize the world community with the unique city of Arkadag.
7.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the transfer to the reserve of military personnel undergoing military service under conscription, and the next conscription of citizens for military service.
According to the decree, from October 1 to December 31, 2023, male citizens of Turkmenistan aged 18 to 27 years who are not entitled to a deferment will be called up for military service.
At the same time, during the same period, military personnel who have completed conscription and served the terms established by law will be transferred to the reserve.

8.Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborah-Lee Jackman have decided to separate after 27 years of marriage.The actors explained that they plan to separate in order to “continue their individual growth”.
The couple does not report the true reason for the divorce. “We have lived together as husband and wife for almost three decades in a wonderful, loving marriage.Now our path is changing”, they told the press.
From his marriage to Deborah-Leigh Jackman, the actor has two children 23 years old son Oscar and 18 years old daughter Ava.
9. Argentine transplant surgeons performed a unique set of operations - they transplanted organs from one donor to three children at once. Thus, one donor saved the lives of three young patients at once. The “Garrahan” hospital has been dealing with organ transplantation since 1992, during which time more than a thousand such operations have been performed there.

10.Dovletjan Yagshimuradov’s opponent at Bellator 300 has become known.The Turkmen light heavyweight will fight with Pole Maciej Ruzanski.The rivals will meet on October 8 in San Diego.
Yagshimuradov is on a two-game winning streak.The Turkmen fighter fought his last fight in March of this year at Bellator 292, where he defeated Lithuanian Julius Anglickas by unanimous decision.
Ruzanski, in turn, lost on points to Carl Moore in February 2023. 34 years old Dovletjan Yagshimuradov received a contract with the Bellator promotion in December 2020.The athlete became the first fighter in Bellator from Turkmenistan.

11.Kyrgyz Premier League newcomer “Muras United” beat defending champion “Abdysh-Ata” in the final match of the 2023 Kyrgyzstan Football Cup.The meeting was held at the main sports arena of the city of Bishkek - the Dolen Omurzakov stadium and ended with a score of 2:1.
Among the winners, Chingiz Idrisov and Artem Serdyuk distinguished themselves.Turkmen defender Teymur Charyev scored the goal for the Kantiv team.Let us remind that in a friendly match against the Bahrain national team, Charyev scored his debut goal for the Turkmenistan national team.
12.Iranian footballer of Turkmen origin Serdar Azmoun made his debut in official matches for the Italian “Roma”.Azmoun's debut was held in the match of the 4th round of Serie A with “Empoli”.
The meeting ended with a score of 7:0 in favor of the Romans.Azmoun appeared on the field in the 84th minute of the match, replacing Romelu Lukaku.
Let us remind that “Roma” announced the signing of a contract with Serdar Azmoun on August 26.The “Bayer” Leverkusen striker signed a contract with the Italian club on a one-year loan with an option to buy for 12 million euros.
