A meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and the rector of the Armenian State University of Economics Diana Galoyan was held in Yerevan.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the State Institute of Economics and Management of Turkmenistan and the Armenian State University of Economics.
Ambassador Ayazov spoke about the work of the Embassy, which is carried out in the direction of developing and strengthening bilateral diplomatic relations in general, and the education sector in this context is one of the priorities.
Rector Galoyan, in turn, presented the activities of ASUE, noting that the university trains personnel in all economic specialties, conducts research activities. The work of the research center “Amberd” was described in detail and readiness to cooperate with foreign universities was expressed.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of research related to the economic relations between the two countries. After discussing and clarifying the details, the parties came to a decision on the subsequent signing of a memorandum of cooperation, reports the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia.
