Merdan sang the "Dance of the Gypsies" from the opera "Aleko" by Sergei Rachmaninov, conveying in the sound of the violin the intensity of emotions and the dashing praise of the dancers.
The audience greeted with a flurry of enthusiastic applause at the big stage of the gifted freshman.
"Dance of the Gypsies" was replaced by the melodically pictorial and breathtaking "Dance with sabers" by Aram Khachaturian. Again is emotional heat, masterly transferred to the sound of the violin Merdan.
