Railroad service in Turkmenistan to be resumed in March

On 15 February, 2021 the Ashgabat office of Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmenistan Railways) was instructed to prepare passenger trains to be used from 1 March, 2021.

Train conductors have been obliged to take COVID-19 test at the end of February.

At first trains are scheduled to consist of fewer carriages than usual 10 instead of 18 to 20.
