Rare twin giraffes born in Kenya’s national park

Rare twin giraffes were born in National Park on the day before. As noted the head of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife of Kenya, Najib Balala, the babies were born in the Maasai giraffe, and this is a very rare occurrence, because this species is endangered.

Thus, the number of individuals of the Maasi giraffe has decreased by 30% over the last 30 years.Besides that, the birth of twins in giraffes is also quite rare and only a few such cases have been recorded in the world.

Nairobi National Park is located seven kilometers from the center of the capital of Kenya.In addition to giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, rhinos and other animals live there.
