Real Madrid beat Manchester City to reach the Champions League semi-finals

In the second quarter-final match of the Champions League, Real Madrid defeated English Manchester City on the road. The first meeting of these teams ended in a draw with a score of 3:3.

During the main time of the return game, the opponents exchanged goals. Rodrigo scored for Real (12th minute), Kevin De Bruyne scored for Manchester City (76th minute). In extra time the score remained unchanged, and the Madrid club won the penalty shootout with a score of 4:3.

In the semi-finals, Real will play against Bayern, which beat Arsenal in the quarter-finals (2:2, 1:0). Another German club Borussia and the French PSG will meet in the second semi-final.

The first matches of the 1/2 finals will be held on April 30 and May 1, the return games will take place on May 7 and 8.

The 2023/24 Champions League final is scheduled for June 1 and will take place at London's Wembley Stadium.
