Regional consortium workshop for the Heads of Customs and Border Guarding services’ training institutions from Central Asian countries

On March 29-31, 2022, within the framework of the Border Management Program in Central Asia (BOMCA), Regional consortium workshop for the Heads of Customs and Border Guarding services’ training institutions from Central Asian countries was held in a hybrid format at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of training institutions of the Customs, Border and Migration Services.

During the three-day event, the participants shared their experience, talked about the activities of the training centers of their services, the organization of educational processes, the curricula used.

The workshop provided a platform to training institutions for enhancing cooperation and exchange of information on educational activities, and also on innovations and changes to the educational process of Central Asian border and customs services.

It is expected that a consortium of heads of Central Asian training institutions will operate in the format of annual meetings and expand legal framework for cooperation to ensure effective collaboration at the regional level.

At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
