Reliable energy supplies discussed at the Second Meeting of Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of OTS member states in Baku

On April 2, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, took part in the Second Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, held in the city of Baku.

In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister placed special emphasis on expanding energy cooperation.In this context, the need to ensure reliable and diversified supplies of energy resources was highlighted.

Nokerguly Atagulyyev also underscored the importance of coordinating efforts among countries in ensuring international security, sustainable development, and active cooperation within international organizations, primarily the United Nations.The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out the significance of expanding trade and economic cooperation, strengthening investment interaction, promoting industrial cooperation, and improving transport and logistics infrastructure, including the development of the EastWest and NorthSouth international transport corridors, as well as the Trans-Caspian and Lapis Lazuli routes.

The holding of the Second Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States in Baku became an important step toward further developing cooperation among the brotherly Turkic states and strengthening regional partnership.
