Residential complex with "Vertical Forest" was built in China

In the urban district of Huanggang, China's Hubei province, the construction of a residential complex with a "Vertical Forest" has been completed. The house was built according to the own concept of the Italian architectural bureau Stefano Boeri Architetti.

The residential complex, consisting of two buildings 80 meters high, is covered with more than 400 trees and several thousand shrubs. According to the idea of the architects, "Vertical Forests" will allow residents always be close to nature, even without leaving the city.

In addition, all 404 trees, 4600 shrubs, as well as several types of grasses and flowers are able to absorb up to 22 tons of carbon dioxide and produce 11 tons of oxygen per year, reports daily.afisha.ru.
