Clothing models from the new collection of the French fashion house Balmain were stolen right before the show, the car they were in was stolen, writes Gazeta.ru.
Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing spoke about this on his personal blog. The raiders stole a truck containing items intended for the show, which was to take place at the end of September. There were about fifty items of clothing in the car.
According to the fashion designer, on the day of the incident, a truck driver called him and said that he had been robbed. Now the Balmain team will have to quickly restore the missing items from the collection in order to be in time for the show.
