On 28 June 2018 President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Rönesans Holding Erman Ilicak.
In the course of the meeting the CEO of the Turkey-based company briefed the President on the construction of the petrol production facility based on natural gas in Ovandepe, Akhal velayat.
It is emphasized that the estimated production capacity is about 600 thousand tons of petrol.The construction works are scheduled to be completed at the start of next year.
The construction progress is closely monitored by the President. On 16 May Berdymukhammedov already met with Ilicak.
On 22 June the President of Turkmenistan met with Tatsuya Watanabe, President Energy System & Plant Engineering Company of Japan-based Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd, which is a Rönesans partner in the aforementioned construction project.
