A traditional Persian carpet - such a symbolic gift was presented to 38 years old Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo by representatives of “Persepolis”, report Iranian media.
The “Al-Nasr” striker flew to Tehran for the Asian Champions League match against the local “Persepolis”, which will be today and start at 23:00 Ashgabat time.
“Al-Nasr” and “Persepolis” are in group E along with Qatar's “Al-Duhail” and Tajikistan's “Istiklol”.
