President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Kazan on Thursday. During the meeting, Minnikhanov presented Berdimuhamedov with the Order of Friendship (“Duslyk”), according to the press service of the Head of Tatarstan.
Minnikhanov expressed gratitude to Serdar Berdimuhamedov for strengthening the warm relations and traditions established by his predecessor, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and for fostering bilateral cooperation.
“Our collaboration has a long history. We work systematically across all areas, and the projects involving our enterprises show great progress,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked Minnikhanov for the warm reception in Kazan. “The Republic of Tatarstan is developing successfully and has become a hub for hosting such important summits,” noted the President of Turkmenistan, assuring that cooperation will continue to advance steadily.
President Berdimuhamedov is in Kazan to participate in the 16th BRICS Summit, held under the theme “Strengthening Multilateralism for Fair Global Development and Security.” His working visit continues.
