Sambo World Cup will be held in Kyrgyzstan on August 22-23

From August 22 to 23, the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, will host the World Cup in sports and combat sambo among men and women.

According to the website of the International SAMBO Federation, after the end of the competition, a seminar for judges and a sports camp for coaches and athletes will be held.

Athletes (not younger than 2005) of national teams representing national SAMBO federations that are members of FIAS will be able to take part in the Sambo World Cup in Kyrgyzstan. No more than 2 athletes per country are allowed to participate in each weight category.

Applications for participation in competitions are submitted by national SAMBO federations no later than August 1, 2023 in accordance with the Regulations.

This year, two SAMBO World Cups are scheduled in the FIAS international calendar. The first of them will be held in Kyrgyzstan in August, the second - in Serbian Novi Sad in September.
