Şanly bedew Opens Steel Pipe and Profile Manufacturing Plant

The industrial company Şanly bedew on Friday inaugurated a new facility for the production of electric-welded steel pipes and profile products in the Ak Bugday district of the Ahal province in Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by esteemed elders, representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and local residents, reported journalist Chary Charyyev from the international news department of the television channel 'Altyn Asyr: Türkmenistan,' a part of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio, and Cinematography, to the Business Turkmenistan online publication.

Spanning 5 hectares, the modern complex includes an office building, a production workshop, and warehouses, equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery from Japan, Italy, and Türkiye.

With a production capacity allowing the processing of 12,000 tons of steel per year, the facility produces high-quality steel pipes and profiles.

For the production of electric-welded pipes and profile products, Şanly bedew uses raw materials such as carbon steel St3ps, St2ps, S235JR, produced by the Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works PJSC and Severstal PJCS as well as Kazakhstan’s Kazmet.

Currently, Şanly bedew production complex manufactures 14 types of steel pipes ranging in thickness from 1.5mm to 4mm and diameter from 33.7mm to 114.3mm. The plant has also commenced production of 13 types of steel profiles with thicknesses from 1.5mm to 4mm, and sizes from 30x30mm to 100x80mm.
