SCRMET Records Over $15.4 Million Worth of Transactions on Thursday

The total value of foreign currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday totalled $15.4 million, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan reports.

Business circles from Afghanistan and Türkiye bought carbamide of grade B produced by Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern enterprise.

For the domestic market, Turkmen business representatives purchased cotton yarn worth 3 million 150 thousand manats. Cotton yarn, available at SCRMET trades, is manufactured by the textile complexes of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

Last week, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered deals worth $18.1 million.
